I was so sad to hear about the death of one of Oprah's beloved spaniels, Sophie, from kidney failure. While it's certainly difficult to lose a dog of any age and at any time, her pooch lived to a ripe ol' 13 and was truly a valued "child" in the household — and at the Harpo production company. My condolences go out for losing another beloved pet so soon after the death of Gracie. 7Your pets are an extention of your family, it's like loosing a very close member of your family. At least the dog had a great life.

! I'm glad that Sophie lived a long and happy life. But that doesn't take the pain away. Heck, I'm getting teared up just typing this. I know that Sophie is still there with
Oprah, in spirit. And Oprah will meet her again in heaven, hopefully very soon. Atleast Sophie has a friend up there, Gracie. I wish the Winfrey dogs and Oprah the best, and feel free to
grieve in peace.
