Although this is obviously meant as a joke, the Anatomy of a Cat Brain seems spot on nonetheless. Especially the part about the short circuit sending your cat from Prrr to Grrr in no time flat! Although I don't have a cat of my own, I've seen a few turn from cute to crazy, freak out at a can opener, and have heard firsthand about how some have a tendency to ignore you . . . seemingly on purpose! 1yeah.. my cats definitely follow this map. LOL.
My cats are scared of anything new. I walked in with a rolled up poster and set it my the door. They completely freaked and then wanted to destroy it.

friends who do not like cats (why is beyond me but to each his own) and I swear Nootie and Bubba will climb on them, sit near them, lay in front of them, anything just to pester them.

Yeah this is spot on! My cat just took a little journey into the lazy susan cabinet in my
kitchen. All of the sudden the cabinet was open and moving all on it's own! Freaked the living freak out of me! Then it gets all around and out pops Izzy cat!
6Our cats are all freaks, even for cats. (Although it seems like that can probably be said about most of them.) Our youngest is afraid of next-to-nothing; we thought he had no fear at all, as he isn't afraid of anything most cats are (such as vacuums or running showers), but then he got thoroughly frightened by a squeak toy.

9My jumbo-sized Persian guy once spent 20 minutes spot welded to my thigh after a spider ran across one of his rear paws. We lovingly refer to him as being "a special kind of retarded!"
