Check out that big doggie belly as Adam Sandler gets in on Hollywood's tote a pet trend! Babu looks a tad hefty and I'm thinking this was just a quick pick 'em up on the way to the movie set for Bedtime Stories in LA yesterday. If you're loving this pup as much as I am, all his pets (past and present) have a fansite full of cute, slobbery videos of them being, well, cute and slobbery. Adam's dog Meatball was named after another bulldog that would hang around on set (forget which movie).
The original Meatball died last month
They will both be missed.

9You're on the money britchick127 - Adam Sandler got his first Bulldog after filming "Little Nicky" with Meaty. He asked the owner of Meaty where the dog came from and bought his first dog Meatball from that same breeder.
In 2006 when Meatball was about 4 years old he passed away. As a wedding gift (just before Meatball died) Adam got Matzoball as a present from his wife. She just died recently. Probably last month or so. Adam's website has a tribute to her on there. www.adamsandler.com

I'm confused as to why they seem to have their doggies die on them after only 4-5 years. Seems like they're eating too much junk food? The lifespan of a bulldog isn't as long as most other breeds but 4 years is really short!
