American Apparel, known for its simple garments, hipster image, and activism in the community [1] has finally gone to the dogs. Doggie clothes, that is. Recently expanding their line of pet apparel, I caught these while perusing for some new shirts for myself. In addition to loving their ribbed puppy tees [2], they now offer a California Fleece Dog Vest ($16) [3] with contrasting collar and leg openings in 22 color varieties! Now, I know some of you are on the fence about dogs in clothing [4] when it's not cold weather, but I suppose if you dig your American Apparel duds, your pup can too! The streamlined, blank slate style of these tees would make a great foundation for a DIY [5] craft project I've got in mind . . . stay tuned!
