Woof! The Terrier group has brought home more titles than any of the other seven groups with various terrier breeds winning a record 45 times since the Best in Show award was first introduced in 1907! These typically high-energy pups are bred to be agile enough to "go to ground" to pursue various quarry like rats, foxes, and other vermin and often display a large amount of determination and courage . . . in a pretty small package. Curious who took the group last night, then read more.
Could the Reign of Terrier continue tomorrow night at Best in Show? Charmin (the Sealyham) already took home the big title at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship, and he was looking just as smashing last night as he captured the Terrier group once again.
Rounding out the top four finishers:

Is that white terrier pictured Charmin? Because I don't remember him having the large black spots around his eyes. I thought he was white all over?
1He only has a large black spot over one eye – so if you see pictures of his right side, he is almost all white: http://charminsealyham.com/
2That explains it! Thanks, Pet. I'm glad I wasn't going batty or something.
3what kind of dog is the best of breed? the Norfolk?
4He's adorable!!
Tonight we'll see Charmin, the Sealyham Terrier, compete in the Terrier group for Best in Show! That's the top Norfolk of the breed who came in 3rd in the terrier group.
5When I looked at the photo, I immediately named the Sealyham Terrier my favorite, so I guess I have good instinct if that's the one competing for best in show. The cutest, for sure. That's my scientific assessment.
6The Norfolk is a classic....I think Charmin is a pooch to watch in Best in Show. But I'm still pulling for Uno
7Aw...I love it...I had a smooth-hair fox terrier growing up, and my sister had a scottie...love them both! so adorable
