3My heart dropped when I saw the picture of Gemina. She was definitely treasured here in SB and it was so sad to find out that they had to put her down for health reasons.
On a happier note, this pass summer I went to the San Diego Wild Animal park (one of my most fave places in the world) and got to feed their tallest giraffe...it was one of the best experiences I have ever had
4That crooked-neck giraffe is one of the most precious things ever. And the fact about the neck bones is fascinating! Fun quiz, even tho I apparently know nothing about giraffes.
5I miss Gemina so much! For me she was a part of the zoo that I always went and saw. I had a membership to the SB zoo and some days I would just go and see her and the new lions then leave. It breaks my heart that I won't see her again.
6And I was bummed, b/c I totally knew the last question but hit the wrong one! UGH!
